Business + Project Manager
SLATE Art LLC

SLATE Art wears many hats as a contemporary art gallery in Uptown Oakland and an arts consulting firm that takes on a variety of projects across the country. My work for SLATE ranges from private collection to public art project management, to day-to-day operations, to minding the books.

Director of Operations
Oakland Art Murmur

Oakland Art Murmur began as an acknowledgment by eight arts spaces that a cooperative effort to promote the arts would garner more attention for their individual visual art programs through the vehicle of a collective First Friday Art Walk. The gallery walk and corresponding organization grew over the years; and, during my tenure, Oakland Art Murmur became a non-profit 501(c)3 organization that included over forty galleries and mixed-use art spaces throughout the City of Oakland and offered unique programing above and beyond the incredibly popular First Friday gallery festivities.

Exhibit Manager
Cornell University Library
Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections

The Division of Rare and Manuscript Collections is Cornell’s principal repository of rare books, manuscripts and archival materials in history, literature, music, the arts, science, natural history, and technology. To share these treasures with the both the University and the wider public, RMC hosts as robust exhibition program. While there, I oversaw an original multi-site loan exhibition showcasing Priceline-founder Jay Walker's "Library of the History of Human Imagination" in its first extensive public showing.

Exhibition Coordinator
The History Center in Tompkins County

The History Center is a non-profit organization whose purpose is to preserve and encourage access to its unique collections, while designing learning experiences and services that create opportunities for people to learn about themselves and their place in the world. In close collaboration with the archivist, I organized both rotating and permanent exhibits that drew upon the diverse holdings of the local history museum. Topics included underwear through the ages, the work of an obscure but talented turn-of-the-century photographer, unpacking the painting collection, and the history of the organization itself.

Researcher, Author, Photographer, Designer
The Art + Life of Alison Mason Kingsbury

Alison Mason Kingsbury was an accomplished but under recognized twentieth century artist. Hired by the late painter’s family, I researched, documented, and cataloged all of her available works, ranging from small book illustrations to large regionalist paintings. With these rich materials, we created a book, exhibition, and online image catalog dedicated to sharing her work and her story.
