"Year in Color" exhibit opening with "Painting Time" book

Since moving out to Oakland, I have been doing arts consulting work with some really great local artists.  On Thursday, a solo exhibit for one of those artists opens along with the premier of the exhibit catalog, which I designed!

In conjunction with the exhibit, the book Painting Time has been published, for which I did the design work and some of the photography.  The book is both an exhibit catalog and a wider examination of the featured work within the context of Carol's art practice as well as modern art history.  The text contains essays by art critic DeWitt Cheng and SLATE director Danielle Fox.
